Mr NG Ser Miang
Patron
Mr Ng Ser Miang, a former national sailor, has been involved in sports for more than three decades. He joined the International Olympic Committee in 1998 and became an executive board member in 2005. In 2009, he was elected as vice-president of the International Olympic Committee. He was also chairman of the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee and was integral in the success of the inaugural Youth Olympic Games. An avid patron of sport in Singapore, he has put the nation on the world map for sports administration and continues to nurture a sporting nation.

 
Dr Ben TAN
President
Dr Ben Tan is an Asian Games and four-time SEA Games Gold medalist in the Laser standard, and also a three-time Sportsman of the Year. Outside of sailing, he is the Head and Senior Consultant at Changi Sports Medicine Centre, and Medical Director and Senior Consultant at Singapore Sports Medicine Centre. In recognition of Dr Tan's outstanding contributions to Singapore, he was conferred the Public Service Medal (1993), Public Service Star (1995), the Singapore Youth Award (1995) and the NUS Outstanding Young Alumni Award (2006).

 
Dr LOH Kok Hua
Deputy President
Dr Loh Kok Hua represented Singapore at the 1975 South East Asia Peninsular (SEAP) Games and 1993 SEA Games. He served at the Republic of Singapore Air Force for 29 years and retired from his last held position as Brigadier General in 2002. He is currently the Chief Ops Analyst at the DSO National Laboratories. Together with his engineering mind, Kok Hua brings to SingaporeSailing his experience in running large operations and organisations with military discipline and precision.

 
Mr Peter LIM
Advisor
Peter Lim is a Singaporean writer and Media Consultant. He was a journalist for 33 years in the Straits Times Press. In 1978, he became Editor-in-Chief of Straits Times Press and in 1987 he was assigned as chief editor to plan and start The New Paper. In 1996,  he raced around the world in the 11-month-long Clipper '95, as a crewmember of the sailing yacht Mermerus that came in second. A former president of the Singapore Yachting Association, he is now advisor of SingaporeSailing.

 
Ms MOK Kah Mun
Vice-President, High Participation
Ms Mok Kah Mun, an avid keelboat sailor who often participates in overseas regattas, has a keen interest in raising the profile of keelboat sailing in Singapore, and attracting more people to our sport. A lawyer by training and a banker by profession, she now runs her own business.

 
Mr Rupert ONG
Vice-President, High Performance
Rupert is currently an Associate Director in the Conveyancing and Property Department at PKWA Law Practice LLC, and also the former editor of ChangiLog and Broadreach. He is a familiar face at various clubs as he sails multiple classes, from Lasers to Catamarans to Keelboats. The former President of the Singapore Laser Fleet adds energy to the team, with his creative problem-solving skills and refreshing approach. Despite being occupied with his law practice, Rupert continues to coach at SAFYC.

 
Mr Rodney TAN
Vice-President, Industry Development and Stakeholder Relations
Rodney was the first batch of national sailors, he represented Singapore at the 1970 Asian Games. He was also part of the team with Ng Ser Miang which revived the Optimist class in Singapore. He is keen to increase participation levels in our sport, adopting a more wholesome approach, leaving no sailor behind. Rodney wants to pay more attention to previously laggard areas such as windsurfing and cruising. He believes that there is more to the sport than just medals. As a Council Member of the Singapore Kindness Movement, improved communication with stakeholders and sportsmanship are also on Rodney's agenda. Rodney also brings with him his rich corporate experience and network.

 
Mr Anthony Lim
Hon. Treasurer
Anthony Lim is currently the Chairman and Group CEO of Acclaim Capital Group, with operating companies in Risk and Insurance Consulting, Assets Management, Professional Services and Leisure Lifestyles. He brings with him the strategic and financial direction of the financial management of SSF in his role as the Hon. Treasurer. Anthony is also serving as the Commodore of the Changi Sailing Club , one of the oldest sailing club in Singapore, since 2009.In this role, he was very much involved in the negotiations with the relevant authorities on the lease of the land of the Club as well as raising the level of membership and sailing/racing activities of the Club. He has been a keen yachtsman for the last 30 years.
 
Mr TAN Hua Chiow
Deputy Treasurer
Mr Tan Hua Chiow has been tirelessly promoting sailing since his days as a Navy officer, teaching our cadets how to sail and helping SAFYC in its tremendous growth path. Not only is he a sailor, yacht master, instructor, club manager, Senior National Race Officer, he also busies himself building marinas in the region. He is currently the Head of Marina Project Development at SUTL Marina Consultancy Pte Ltd.

 
Mr TAN Wearn Haw
CEO
Wearn Haw heads the SingaporeSailing management as CEO. The Olympian's experience in sailing is wide and varied, spanning the various junior, youth, Olympic dinghy classes, windsurfing, match racing, Extreme 40 catamaran racing and the America's Cup. Trained in France and United Kingdom as an aeronautical engineer under the Singapore government's Public Service Commission scholarship, Wearn Haw has previously served in various parts of the Singapore sports administration system, often in concurrent appointments, with the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports and Singapore Sports School, working closely with the many stakeholders in the sports scene.
 
Mr Jason LIM Swee Kay
Secretary General
Jason Lim is the General Manager of SingaporeSailing and was appointed the Secretary General in 2010. A former Secretary of the then Singapore Yachting Association (SYA) and also a former Vice President for windsurfing in the SingaporeSailing Executive Committee, Jason has been instrumental in developing the sport of sailing and windsurfing over the years. Jason served as the Secretary of the SYA under three different Presidents – Messrs Peter Lim, Ng Ser Miang, and Ong Siong Kai.
