Greetings all
Well, we are well and truly established here in Pattaya.
We are nicely setup at both the sailing venue and our hotel accommodation.
All our equipment arrived in one piece and we have been sailing in some good conditions for the past five days and the sailors are adapting to the conditions very well. Actually they are having a lot of fun out there. The weather is beautiful and sailing conditions have been very nice.
Aunty Serena has organized the team and logistics superbly and Uncle Quintin and Uncle Kelvin Wong are keeping us all fit and healthy.
We are looking forward to the arrival of our Olympic Squad sailors who have been undertaking some great training in Sydney.
Captain SL Koh is back to his top form. Inventing all sorts of games for the morning PT. I think with his entrepreneurial spirit he will probably take-over Parker Brothers Games Company in the future.
Unfortunately we might lose Serena to the Singapore Cricket Team as she has shown she has lightening catching reflexes. She displayed her skills in the tri-nation cricket match in front of our containers (Singapore-South Africa-Australia) a few days back.
Mr Hong (Alvin) has been promoted to Uncle Hong status, dutifully watching over the eating habits of our Opti Team.
Siobhan has developed a knack for stealth photography. Taking pictures of people when they least expect it. Surprise. Click.
All good!
Will keep you all posted and thanks for your support.
Cheers
Andrew Sanders
