IT WAS the fun before the storm for Singapore's Olympic sailing team yesterday, as they enjoyed a day of games with their teammates.
It marked the end of a four-day camp at Sentosa's One Degree 15 Marina Club, where the six Olympic sailors played team-bonding games and prepared themselves psychologically.
In the afternoon, 80 members of the sailing fraternity gathered at the National Sailing Centre to bid them goodbye and good luck.
The sailors, along with six officials, leave for Qingdao from Changi Airport's Terminal 3 at 8.30am today - the first of Singapore's 25 Olympians to head to China. |
