NSC Optimist Sailing Scheme (NSC-OSS)
The National Sailing Centre Optimist Sailing Scheme (NSC-OSS) is develop to assist the young sailors from learning the basics of sailing, to the point of purchasing their own boats and participating in regattas and competitions.

Objective |
- To formulate a step-by-step guide for all interested young sailors to enjoy and fully develop their potentials in sailing the Optimist
- To assign the young sailors to training classes which measures up to their individual sailing abilities
- To maintain and monitor the sailing history of all young sailors of the centre

- Children from ages 8 - 15 years old

Note:
1.
After completing the Basic course, the participants has the option to proceed further to Module I or opt for Recreational Sailing at the centre for a duration of three (3) months only
2. Participants have the option to progress to each subsequent level of the scheme, after having met the necessary requirement. Sailing at the centre will cease once the participant opt NOT to progress as requred.
