Anything that’s worth doing is worth doing well.
Name one great thing about being a coach
I love interacting with the kids and seeing them transform from fearful learners to confident sailors. As a coach, I feel tremendous joy when these young sailors went on to do well in regattas because I know how far they’ve come. It’s the same feeling every parent feels when their child does well.
Best sailing memory
When both my son and I received trophies at the same regatta
Worst sailing memory
Caught in violent storm as a new sailor
Best thing about sailing
Being out there just inches above the water surface skimming, wind and sprays in your face. It’s exhilarating!
Worst thing about sailing
The Blazing Sun!
A coach boat with canopy would be wonderful!
Greatest sailing icon
Ben Tan, he puts his heart into sailing and his work as a doctor and he does both well.
