29er Conversion Course by Coach Priscilla Low

Objectives

1. Boat Introduction.

2. Boat Rigging.

3. Land drills for helm and crew on 29er/420 (Every sailors tries both).

4. Harness use.

5. Trapeezing: in and out, up and down.

6. Safety for crew.

7. Mainsheet sail trim.

8. Spinnaker sail trim, hoist and drop.

9. Sail 29er/420 without spinnaker.

10. Debrief each day.

Pre-requisites - Only for Singaporeans to Apply

• Min 4 to start.  Max 8 sailors.

• 2009 (16 yrs old in 2025) and below, 2011 (14 yrs old in 2025).

• Min. 40kg.

• Opti Gold Fleet and above (ILCA 4 or ILCA 6) with minimum Level 1 proficiency.

• No boat required.  All to use SSF provided boats.

• No refund will be made for any missed sessions.
