The Wingfoil Advanced is designed for young wingfoilers ready to race competitively.
Sessions focus on refining key manoeuvres and building a strong understanding of racing tactics and strategies. Emphasis is placed on improving tactical awareness, speed, and consistency to prepare youths for both local and overseas competitions.
Mentorship & Integrated Coaching: Head Coach Jun Hao leads one session per week to set the training goals and guidelines. Athletes in the programme are expected to train and practise on their own time during the week based on training goals, and guidelines set by Head Coach Jun Hao each week.
Cross-Disciplinary Training: To ensure no training time is wasted, sessions proceed regardless of the weather. On low-wind days, athletes engage in cross-training, or strength and conditioning sessions in the gym.
International Exposure: Athletes have the opportunity to join overseas training trips (at their own cost) - important for learning to race in different conditions.
Training will be conducted by Head Coach Jun Hao:
Saturday: 2PM – 5PM
Athletes in the programme are expected to train and practise on their own time during the week based on training goals, and guidelines set by Head Coach Jun Hao each week.
Fees: S$350 per month. Optional equipment storage at NSC is an additional S$50 per month. These fees are subsidised and help us defray a small part of costs like manpower, fuel, and facility.
There will be no make-up classes or refunds.
Equipment: Athletes are required to use their own gear to ensure familiarity and optimal tuning. Usage of SSF equipment is subject to availability.
Attendance Policy: To maintain training momentum and squad standards, there are no replacement classes for missed sessions.
