This programme helps beginner wingfoilers consolidate their basic skills and build the confidence to progress further.

Participants will focus on achieving sustained flights, as well as learning gybes

Prerequisites

Young Singaporeans (9-16) who have completed one of the following:

We also welcome learners who have picked up the basics elsewhere, but they must demonstrate that they can safely handle themselves and wingfoil equipment both on and off the water.

Key Benefits

  • Zero Equipment Barrier: Fees include all equipment (Wing, Foil, and Board). This allows participants to refine their skills without the immediate need for a significant investment in personal gear.

  • Safety-First Oversight: Every session is supported by a safety boat. While coaching is minimal to encourage self-discovery and autonomy, a coach provides oversight and essential safety guidance throughout the session.

  • Consistent Water Time: Strategically scheduled during midday wind windows to maximise the chances of "getting on foil."

  • All-Weather Engagement: To maintain the training habit, sessions proceed regardless of weather. If conditions are unsuitable for foiling, alternative activities (such as land-based drills or craft knowledge) will be provided to ensure continued learning.

  • Community Building: Meet and "spar" with other foilers at the same level. This practice fosters friendships and a supportive environment for those aiming to compete in their first local race.

Programme Schedule

  • Saturday: 12pm - 2pm

  • Sunday: 12pm - 2pm
