Over $120,000 was raised for the Singapore Sailing Federation during its inaugural Golf and dinner fundraiser on 31 July 2025.
120 golfers teed off to support underprivileged sailors at the Singapore Sailing Charity Golf Day and Dinner.
SINGAPORE, 31 JUL 2025 – 350 current and former sailors, coaches, parents and friends of sailing came together at the 2025 Singapore Sailing Charity Golf Day and Dinner.
The pioneer generation of sailors, who laid the foundations by building the National Sailing Centre, as well as other former national sailors, donated generously to support underprivileged and future sailors.
Together with the 120 sailing supporters who took to the 18 holes at Tanah Merah Country Club, they donated more than $120,000 to the Singapore Sailing Federation.
On hand to thank the generous donors were National sailors Maximilian Maeder, Ryan Lo, Cecilia Low, Elkan Oh and Keira Carlyle.
Guest-of-Honour, Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Senior Minister of State for Education, also took the time to chat with our senior and junior sailors.
Funds raised will go towards three areas:

Community programmes that provide underprivileged Singaporean children and youth with opportunities to learn sailing

Provide more training opportunities for sailors on the performance pathway

Upgrading the equipment and facilities at the National Sailing Centre.
