1. Acknowledgment of Risks
I, the parent or legal guardian of the Participant, understand and acknowledge that participation in the "Learn-to-Wingfoil" (the "Activity") organised by the Singapore Sailing Federation (the "Organiser") involves inherent risks, dangers, and hazards. These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Physical exertion and potential for injury due to falls, slips, collisions, or contact with equipment or other participants.

• Risks associated with being on and in the water, including drowning, hypothermia, sun exposure, and encounters with marine life.

• Equipment failure, improper use of equipment, or errors in judgment by the Participant, instructors, or other participants.

• Environmental risks such as changing weather conditions (wind, rain, lightning), currents, or water conditions.

• Any other unforeseen risks inherent in water sports activities.

I understand that while the Organiser will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of participants, it is impossible to eliminate all risks associated with the Activity.

2. Assumption of Risk
I freely and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, that may arise from my child's/ward's participation in the Activity, including those risks detailed above, and assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage (including death) sustained by the Participant as a result of their participation.

3. Health and Medical Conditions
I certify that the Participant is in good physical health and does not have any medical conditions, disabilities, or allergies that would prevent safe participation in the Activity or that would be exacerbated by the Activity. I agree to inform the Organiser immediately of any relevant medical information or changes to the Participant's health status. I authorise the Organiser, its staff, or appointed medical personnel to obtain necessary emergency medical treatment for the Participant if required, and I agree to be responsible for all costs associated with such treatment.

4. Rules and Regulations
I understand and agree that the Participant must abide by all rules, regulations, instructions, and safety guidelines provided by the Organiser and its instructors before and during the Activity. I acknowledge that failure to follow instructions may result in the Participant being removed from the Activity without a refund.

5. Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration of the Participant being permitted to participate in the Activity, I, on behalf of myself, the Participant, and our respective heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the Singapore Sailing Federation, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, instructors, and affiliates (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, losses, costs, expenses, and damages (including, without limitation, those caused by negligence), arising out of or in connection with the Participant's participation in the Activity, including travel to and from the Activity.

6. Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, costs, expenses, and actions (including reasonable legal fees) that may arise from the Participant's participation in the Activity, including any claims brought by third parties due to the Participant's actions.

7. Photo/Video Release
I grant the Singapore Sailing Federation permission to use photographs, videos, or other likenesses of the Participant taken during the Activity for promotional purposes, including on its website, social media, and marketing materials, without compensation or further approval.

8. Severability
I agree that if any portion of this waiver is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.

9. Governing Law
This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS TERMS. I AM THE PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN OF THE PARTICIPANT AND HAVE THE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO ACCEPT THIS WAIVER ON THEIR BEHALF.
