The Singapore Sailing Federation held its 60th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, 25 June 2026, at the National Sailing Centre.

Ordinary and associate members in attendance elected and confirmed a new executive committee.

Mr Stanley Chan was nominated for the role of President by Changi Sailing Club, People's Association PAssion Wave, and Windsurfing Association of Singapore.

As the only nominee, he was elected President by the members for a two-year term.

In addition, Ms Aida Khalid and Dr Joan Huang were nominated for two Vice-President roles by the People's Association PAssion Wave and the Windsurfing Association of Singapore, respectively.

As there was only one nominee for each position, both were confirmed by members and will serve two-year terms.

"I believe in making wind sports accessible and enjoyable for everyone," said Aida.

"I’m passionate about growing the community and encouraging more people to discover windsurfing and wing foiling. From the very young to the young at heart, I believe age is never a barrier to learning, enjoying, and thriving in these sports."

Aida is an architect, studio potter, design educator, and former national windsurfer.

As there were no nominations for the role of Deputy Treasurer at the AGM, the Executive Committee subsequently appointed Ms Leong See Kay to the non-voting role until the next AGM.

See Kay has over 20 years of experience across international education, tourism, media and advertising.

During her time with the Singapore Tourism Board, she held roles in Destination Branding and Attractions Cluster Development before being posted to the STB Beijing Office, where she oversaw tourism market development, trade partnerships, and government relations for the China market.

For the past decade, See Kay has been based in Beijing, working closely with students, families, and school leaders to drive student recruitment and enhance the overall admissions experience at Dulwich College Beijing.
