National Sailing Centre, 14–17 March 2026 – 269 sailors across seven events took part in the Singapore Youth Sailing Championships over the weekend.

Sailors experienced a wide range of conditions, with northeast winds gusting up to 14 knots and temperatures hitting a high of 30 degrees Celcius.

On the second day, sailors making their way back to shore could not outrun a storm that drenched everyone and dramatically reduced visibility.

There was a host of international sailors from Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau, India, China, Germany, France, Spain and the United States of America.

To accommodate over 100 sailors, the Optimist Gold Fleet was split into two groups and spent the first two days in a qualifying series.
