🇸🇬 HIGHEST RECORDED FINISH AT MEN’S ILCA 7 WORLDS 🌊
Ryan Lo clinched Singapore’s highest-ever finish at the ILCA 7 Men's World Championships, coming in 14th after a tense six-day regatta.
The two-time Olympian's nett score after five races was 24 points. Ryan finished fifth twice out of five races in a fleet of 138 sailors.
The 2025 ILCA 6 Women's & ILCA 7 Men's World Championships started with three days of no wind and heavy fog on the fourth day, forcing sailors to return to shore. Racing finally kicked off on the fifth day.
In the women's ILCA 6 class, Jania Ang finished 57th among 99 sailors. She recorded a nett score of 124 points, posting a best finish of 12th place in one of her six races.
Singapore was also represented by 18-year-old Jarrod Toh who competed in the ILCA 7 class. He finished 123rd with a nett score of 144 points.
