⛵️🇸🇬 MAX MAEDER WINS SPORTSMAN OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Max Maeder for winning the Sportsman of the Year at the 2025 Singapore Sports Awards!

Max is the first sailor to win the top men’s award since Siew Shaw Her in 1999.

Shaw Her won gold in the men’s 420 class at the 1998 Asian Games.

Max is also the first male athlete in more than two decades to win back-to-back Sportsboy and Sportsman of the Year awards.

Fellow sailors Ryan Lo and Isaac Goh also won Meritorious awards in the Sportsman (Individual) and Sportsboy (Individual) categories respectively.
