⛵️🇸🇬 MERITORIOUS AWARD FOR OUR JUNIOR OPTIMIST SAILORS

After winning back-to-back silvers in team racing at the 2024 and 2025 Optimist World Championships, our junior sailors were awarded the Meritorious Award in the Team category by the Singapore National Olympic Council.

The team consists of (from left to right) Zeph Wann, Sean Kum, Desiree Lee, Ethan Chia and Pee Teck Woon.

“⁠I feel honoured to get this merit award at the Singapore Sports Award for representing my country and achieving a second in team racing after months of hard work with the whole team,” said Ethan, who also received the Meritorious Award last year.
