Changi Beach Park Car Park 1, 10–11 Jan 2026 - Twenty wingfoilers and seven Techno 293 sailors took to the waters at the Northeast Monsoon Grand Prix Series 1 over the weekend.

The race has seen impressive participation from young sailors aged 9 to 15, demonstrating remarkable skill and dedication that belie their age and physical build in the demanding disciplines of wingfoiling and windsurfing. In fact, many of the athletes have only picked up their sport just months ago!

Winds gusting up to 16 knots gave organisers a chance to pack in many races using a slalom race format. The Techno sailors got in 11 races while the wingers enjoyed 20.

This is the first in a series of three races, with the next Northeast Monsoon Grand Prix slated for 31 Jan 2026.
